  Springfield, IL - HeliTech came to our home August 10 to do waterproofing in our basement. We hired them to correct the issue of ground water getting into our basement when there were severe and heavy rains.
  
  We had NO OTHER issues. Their crew proceeded to BREAK not one, but two sewer lines. Their staff has also stated "Oh, that was old clay tile,so it's not our responsibility." Their crew ADMITTED they broke the lines. We had absolutely ZERO issues with our sewer system.
  
  Today is August 12, 2017. We are unable to use the toilet, take a shower or run water that isn't run into a bucket.
  
  Our contract stated they would be breaking 18 linear feet. Where they broke the first sewer line, they shouldn't have even been jackhammering. It was more than 4 feet longer than needed -- and longer than what we agreed to when talking with Darren Leitner - prior to the work beginning.
  
  A John (I'm not sure of his last name) is supposed to be standing in for a Paul Tierry who is the customer service manager, flat out stated that HeliTech WILL NOT in any way be making this right. He has been extremely rude, condescending and lying about this situation.
  
  When I left for work Thursday, I was able to take a shower, use the bathroom, and wash my dishes.
  
  When I came home from work - I was no longer able to do any of those things.
  
  We've had 4 different plumbers tell us the same thing: HeliTech did this. Our estimates run from $4000 - $8000. I'm not sure we can go with the cheapest estimate, because that is what we did with HelitTech, and you can see what that got us. It will be another week before anything can be fixed -- and that's IF we can come up with the money.
  
  I'm guessing at this point that the sewer lines were frightened so badly by the irresponsible jackhammering, they just burst on their own.
  
  Unbeleivable. NO ONE other than Darren Leitner or this John have done anything to begin to rectify this situation.
  
  There was nothing wrong with our sewer pipes until your crew showed up.
  
  Our next steps are to broadcast this experience with ANY news media that will listen, filing a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General's office, and seeking a lawyer to sue HeliTech.

  Great job!!! Complete job was done in less time than quoted. Quality and workmanship was fantastic. Thanks to Tyler, Charles, and Mathew my basement will always be dry.
